a short sketch built around Mary and her Papa writing letters back and forth - in context, Mary was essentially an unwed mother - in that culture at that time Joseph would have had every right to disown her (put her away), she would have brought great shame to her family, and she could very easily have been stoned - she would be a social outcast - even as her father tries to rebuke her she maintains her faith in God's plan - the skit is a little more contemporary, but it does express Mary's unwavering faith in the plan of the Father and the promise of the Messiah . . .
